Burned body may suddenly

Seconds, Has it occurred to someone who was sleeping relaxing, dancing, driving cars, in the bathroom or sitting on the sofa suddenly without any source of fire burned his body alive. The incident was called Spontaneous Human Combustion (SHC) or spontaneous burning of the body which has its cause remains a mystery.

This event arguably absurd, because the victims were burned to death not be in experiencing near a fire or short circuit. But his body suddenly seemed to explode from the inside to burn his entire body.

Body burning occurs due to spontaneous bursts of fire from the chemical reaction occurring within the body without any external heat source.

Spontaneous burning body case was first investigated Danish anatomist Thomas Bartholin in the year 1663. At that time depicted a woman in Paris on fire while sleeping.

As quoted from HowStuffWorks, Monday (26/04/2010) burned body of hundreds of cases that have occurred spontaneously always followed the same pattern. The legs are always intact, even though the torso and head are charred beyond recognition.

Also around the room showed no or only little signs of fire. In certain cases, internal organs sometimes encountered the victim remain untouched while the outside burned.

Not all victims of dead body on fire spontaneously. Some survivors suffered minor burns on his body without any strange a clear source.

The human body needs two things to burn is a very high heat and some flammable substances. In normal circumstances do not occur spontaneously burned.

But most scientists during the last few centuries have speculated that the possibility is still there. Genesis of this spontaneous burning bodies also have inspired the famous author Charles Dickens who in 1800 killed one of the characters in his novels with the way the body burns spontaneously due to the excessive amount of alcohol in his body.

Until now there has been no single theory that can explain the phenomenon ini.Terdapat few general facts relating to all cases of SHC, as quoted from Castleofspirits, namely:

1. As many as 80 percent of SHC victims are women.
2. Most victims are overweight or alcoholics.
3. Victim's body would be burned, but the space around the body of the victim is still quite intact.
4. Victim's body will turn yellow and casualties arising biasaya around oil smells rotten.
5. Torso including the chest, abdomen and pelvis can really burn, but part of a leg or clothing can be still intact.
6. Combustion occurs only on the victims themselves without any cries or screams unheard.
7. Usually the victim drink a lot before she died.

Here are some examples of SHC cases that occurred in several places:

October 1938
Maybelle Andrews and his girlfriend were dancing at a nightclub, and then suddenly there was a fire that erupted from the back, chest and shoulders Maybelle. At the moment there is not another fire in the room only the clothes on Maybelle. Maybelle died of his wounds while on his way to hospital.

January 31, 1959
Jack Larber, patients aged 72 years suddenly burst into flame after a few minutes to be fed. Officers tried to extinguish the fire but Larber already died from burns third stage. There is no explanation about the origin of fire but it is known that Larber is a smoker.

December 1959
Billy Peterson was found dead in the front seat of his car. Initially he allegedly tried to commit suicide due to carbon monoxide poisoning, but his body burned in the back, legs and hands. Her flesh was burned but the clothes or the front seat was not damaged.

December 1966
Dr Bentley J Irving (92 years) was found dead on the bathroom floor with nearly 90 percent of his body burned except his right leg and shoe. We found a strange smell and adap blue. Her house was not damaged.

January 6, 1980
Police and forensic officers found Mans body had been burned and could not be identified in her living room. Chair plastic seat and objects around it and found almost undamaged layer of meat that evaporate in the ceiling.

October 1980
A woman named Jenna Winchester exploded and burned while sitting in his car next to his friend. Recognized his friend he saw a yellow flame coming from Jenna. Fortunately, Jenna had survived with burns on about 20 percent of his body.

March 24, 1997
John O'Connor (76 years) was found dead in the living room with charred position when sitting in a chair. When encountered only the head, upper body and legs are still not burned. There was also minor damage in the furniture due to smoke.

Scientists suspect in the human body are body fat that serves as a flammable material. While the clothing or the victim's hair as its axis.

Body fat will melt the clothes and act as a wetting agent such as wax. This has allegedly caused the victim's body more damaged, while the surrounding environment is not damaged.

Foot conditions that rarely burn victims may be related to the temperature gradient, which is part of the body up more heat than the bottom. As well as greasy stains on the walls caused the ceiling is probably residue from the burning of fat tissue.

Although there is no convincing evidence of the truth about burning the body spontaneously, but most scientists believe there are more possible explanation. Like most victims are smokers, under the influence of alcohol or suffering from a disease that limits his movements so he could not avoid the fire.
